These Terms govern your use of Reva - the local rewards network at reva.app and any sites or apps that link to it. By creating an account, scanning a QR code, or otherwise using the service, you agree to what's below. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
1. The Reva account
1.1 Customer accounts
Customers can use Reva without registering — a device ID is generated for you when you scan a QR code. You can optionally add your email to sync your card across devices. You must be at least 16 to register.
1.2 Business accounts
A business account is created by a legally responsible person on behalf of a real business. You confirm that you have the authority to bind the business to these Terms and that the information you provide is true.
1.3 Account security
Keep your password safe. We'll never ask for it by email or phone. If you suspect someone else accessed your account, email security@reva.app immediately.
2. What you can do
- Run loyalty programs at the business locations you own or manage
- Issue rewards and customize their branding
- Print and share your QR codes
- Earn stamps and redeem rewards as a customer
- Export your data, delete your account, and walk away — anytime, no guilt trip
3. What you cannot do
- Use Reva for fraud, money laundering, or anything illegal where you operate
- Cheat the rewards network - fake scans, scripted claims, multiple devices to farm rewards
- Upload content that's defamatory, hateful, infringes someone else's IP, or that you don't have the right to use (logos, photos, brand names)
- Reverse-engineer our API to build a competing product, or scrape Reva at scale
- Resell access to Reva without our written permission
- Spam your customers using contact info collected through Reva for unrelated marketing
4. Loyalty programs & rewards
Each business sets its own reward rules — how many stamps, what gets unlocked, how long stamps last. The business is the sole party responsible for honoring those rewards. Reva provides the technology; the coffee, haircut, or 25% discount is on the business.
Once a customer activates a reward, the business has a window (default 15 minutes) to deliver it. If a customer doesn't show the activated pass to staff in time, the reward is forfeit. Stamps stay spent. This is by design and matches how paper stamp cards work.
Reva is not responsible for changes a business makes to its program. If a business closes its account, customers' outstanding rewards may no longer be redeemable.
5. Plans and pricing
- Free trial — 14 days of full Business plan access. No card required to start. Cancel anytime.
- Business plan — billed monthly or annually. Pricing is displayed at checkout and may change with 30 days' notice. If we change prices, your existing rate is honored until your next renewal.
- Chain plan — custom contract, agreed in writing.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Reva does not store your card number.
5.1 Cancellation & refunds
Cancel any time from your dashboard. You'll keep paid access until the end of the current billing period. We don't auto-charge for an extra year after you cancel. If you cancel within 14 days of a fresh annual upgrade and you've used Reva minimally, email hello@reva.app and we'll pro-rate a refund in good faith.
6. Your data & ours
You own your data. Reva owns the platform. Specifically:
- You retain all rights to your business name, logo, customer lists, and program configuration
- You give Reva a limited license to process this data only to run the service — display it back to you, your authorized staff, and your customers as designed
- Reva retains all rights to the software, design, dashboards, and codebase
When you delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days. We keep aggregated, anonymized statistics that can't be traced back to you, for product analytics.
7. Acceptable use & suspension
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the service, or put other users at risk. We'll warn you first whenever we can. In serious cases (fraud, illegal content, security risk), we may act first and explain after.
8. Service availability
We aim for 99.9% monthly uptime, but we don't guarantee it. The service is provided "as is." We do our best, but the internet is the internet.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law: Reva is not liable for consequential damages — lost profits, lost customers, lost goodwill — arising from your use of the service. Our total liability in any twelve-month period is capped at what you paid us in that same period (or €100 if you're on the free plan).
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or anything the law says we can't exclude (like consumer rights in the EU/UK).
10. Changes to these terms
We'll email registered users at least 14 days before any material change takes effect. If you don't agree, you can cancel before the change kicks in and we'll prorate your remaining time. Continued use after the effective date counts as acceptance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Disputes go to the competent courts there, except where consumer protection law in your jurisdiction grants you the right to sue locally — in which case, those rights are preserved.
